Essential Oils and incense are known to stimulate receptions in our brain and activate the region that controls our limbic system. Our limbic system is what triggers our emotions, memory, learning and motivation. When our body smells a particular scent at a particular time, such as meditation or prayer, our body immediately goes into that certain state of mind.
The intake of essential oils sends signals to the olfactory system and provokes the brain to exert neurotransmitters, which further regulate the mood.
The top notes of a perfume are formed by the smallest, most volatile molecules. As soon as you spray a fragrance, these top notes want to jump off the skin and make their presence felt.
Middle notes take a little longer to emerge than the top notes. Once you have sprayed a fragrance onto your skin, you can expect the heart notes to shine through after around 15 to 30 minutes.
Base notes tend to emerge on your skin around an hour after application. They then linger for much longer than the other notes.
Roll On needs to be rolled and mists sprayed on nerve points. Nerve points are behind the ears, wrists, elbows and neck.
